Kindergarten Enjoys Robotics!

We are so proud of our 5th grade robotics team, the Musicbots, as they are headed to Florida in May for their success in the First Lego League Robotics competition at Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama! They scored FIRST PLACE in their project based presentation and second place in the core values category. They are representing our school well!

Back here in Arkansas, we are also preparing grades K-4 to eventually be on the middle school Robotics team as well. Grades K-4 are currently coding and programming using the Ozobots, and they are LOVING it! Here are a few pictures to show you their robots and the courses they have programmed them to follow.

Every Friday, the Kindergartners join grades 2-4 and participate in a STEM hour. During this hour, they kindergartners are partnered up with the older kids and they problem solve together to program the Ozobots using color coded commands.
